September is National Recovery Month!
Recovery is possible. Treatment works. And together, we can help break the stigma surrounding substance use in our communities.
This September, The Walker Center is inviting local businesses, organizations, schools, and community partners to join our annual #RecoveryRocks campaign, and help us make recovery more visible across Idaho.
Why It Matters
Millions of people are affected by addiction, yet many never reach out for help because of stigma.
Nearly 20 million Americans struggle with alcohol or substance use disorders, but only 1 in 10 seeks treatment
Most people with substance use disorders never receive the care they need
Recovery is possible, and every conversation helps reduce stigma and encourage hope
When organizations like yours get involved, we can reach more people, reduce stigma, and build a community where no one has to face addiction alone.
