Debbie Thomas, LPC, ICADC, MAC
Chief Executive Officer

Debbie is the Chief Executive Officer of the Walker Center and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Debbie became the CEO in July 2012. Prior to this, she served as Clinical Director since 2007. She has worked in the behavioral health field for over 30 years in both mental health and substance abuse treatment programs, quality assurance, and Employee Assistance and has been a clinical supervisor for 25 years. Debbie earned her graduate degree M.Ed. in Community and Agency Counseling from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1989. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys teaching. Her belief about treatment is that it takes patience, understanding, and the entire family and community to work together with the treatment team to teach, coach, and mentor to find the strengths and talents in order to avoid the dangerous, life-altering negative consequences of addiction. Treatment is about providing Hope! With regard to running an organization, Debbie focuses on servant leadership and looks to increase the emotional intelligence and resiliency of her teams while reducing barriers to success. Debbie is committed to giving back and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Idaho Region 5 Behavioral Health Board; and is a member of the Idaho Behavioral Health Council Advisory Board.
Reid W. Lofgran, DO
Medical Director

Doctor Lofgran is the Medical Director of the Walker Center. He is a board-certified family physician through the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). Dr. Lofgran is also a board-certified addictionologist (a physician who specializes in the medical treatment of addiction) through the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). He began working with addictions at the Walker Center in 2001 as a family physician. In 2008 Dr. Lofgran became Addiction Medicine certified through the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and also accepted the position of Medical Director at the Walker Center. He believes in compassionate treatment for those who struggle with addictions. Due to the many advances in medicine, and the increasing knowledge of the biochemical process of addiction, Dr. Lofgran works under the belief that he can help those with addictions find a road to recovery. With currently available medications, it is possible to assist patients during the phases of drug withdrawal, cravings, and long-term sobriety while they are utilizing counseling and other tools which will help them learn about their addiction and learn how to overcome the effects of drug use while staying sober. Dr. Lofgran is actively involved in teaching about addiction prevention and treatment, as well as participating in community efforts to educate our youth about the dangers of addiction.
Chris Comstock, M.Ed.
Chief Operating Officer

Chris Comstock, Chief Operation Officer and Director of the Challenge Course has worked at the Walker Center since 2014. Chris became the Chief Operating Officer in the spring of 2019. Chris spent 14 years in education as a Business Education Teacher and Administrator prior to coming to the Walker Center. His passion for watching teenagers grow up and transform their lives has morphed into watching clients transform their lives. He enjoys working in Gooding, Idaho, where he grew up and now is raising his own family. Chris enjoys crunching numbers and likes the challenge of balancing a budget for a non-profit organization.
Waylon Zielinski
Director of Human Resources

Waylon is all about creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and—most importantly—enjoy coming to work. She joined The Walker Center in May 2024 and quickly found her passion for fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. By August 2024, she stepped into the world of human resources, bringing her enthusiasm for teamwork, laughter, and professionalism to the role.
As the Director of Human Resources, Waylon is dedicated to making HR approachable, ensuring employees feel heard, and keeping the workplace both productive and fun. She believes that a great company culture isn’t just about policies—it’s about people. Whether she’s problem-solving, planning team activities, or just sharing a good joke, Waylon is committed to making The Walker Center a great place to work.
Sarah Walling-Gifford, LCSW
Director of Clinical Services and Performance

Sarah has been a vital part of The Walker Center since December 2014, serving as the Director of Clinical Services and Performance. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and mental health counseling, Sarah provides clinical supervision to all clinical staff, leads program development, ensures quality assurance, and offers direct support to clients and their families.
She is also a trusted trainer and facilitator, offering community and professional education on topics such as ethics and de-escalation strategies. Sarah is registered with the state of Idaho as a Clinical Supervisor and is a certified supervisor with the Idaho Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC). Her leadership is rooted in a deep commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Christine Standlee
Director of Community Relations

Christine is the Director of Community Relations at the Walker Center and is a Licensed Social Worker. Prior to this, she worked for the Department of Health and Welfare for 31 years and was in the Child Protection field for over 23 years both as an adoption case manager and foster care licensing. She served as Child Welfare Supervisor from 2020. Christine earned her undergraduate degree, a B.A. in Psychology, from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington in 1992. She has a passion for helping others and enjoys building connections and strong transformative relationships. She is excited to pursue a new passion, foster trust and understanding, community-led solutions, and strive towards social change. Christine views herself as a person of hope and possibilities and brings a network of help, support, and human connection. Christine is committed to busting the stigma of addiction by engaging community organizations, families, churches, businesses, and individuals who need substance abuse treatment. Her individual lived experiences encourage people to know the facts and educate themselves and others to eliminate shame and fear in places of employment and the communities and families she is hoping to reach.
Faryn Markette, LPC

Faryn joined The Walker Center in March 2025 as a Residential Counselor, bringing a wide range of experience in mental and behavioral health. She has worked across various levels of care, including substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, outpatient counseling, juvenile justice programs, and support for survivors of trauma and domestic violence. With a background in counseling and a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, she meets clients with compassion, structure, and a calming presence.
Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy and trained in DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and crisis intervention, Faryn blends clinical skill with authenticity. She’s a firm believer in the healing power of humor and connection—and loves making others smile, even in life’s toughest moments.
Tyler Moulton, LMSW

Tyler is a Licensed Master Social Worker and native of southern Idaho. She earned her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho while working as a counselor at Wingate Wilderness Therapy. She went on to receive a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University. Before joining the Walker Center team in April 2024, she worked as a wilderness therapist, where she was able to embrace her love of the outdoors while helping struggling adolescents. Tyler is passionate about inspiring others to try new and challenging experiences and finds great satisfaction in watching them blossom in a healthy environment.
Cecilia Harman, LMSW

Cecilia joined The Walker Center in January 2024 as a Residential Counselor, bringing over 20 years of experience in bodywork and somatic healing. Her journey led her to earn a Master of Social Work with a focus on trauma-informed care in substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Cecilia combines her hands-on healing background with clinical expertise to support clients on their path to recovery.
Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cecilia values compassion, growth, and authenticity. When she’s not working or studying, you might find her playing the ukulele, singing, gardening, or exploring new places with loved ones.
Dan Berryman, CADC
Residential Drug & Alcohol Counselor

Dan is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been working in the field since 2016. Most of his experience has been in Methadone treatment, Outpatient, and Intensive Outpatient settings, where he brings a steady, client-centered approach to recovery support. He has been sober since August 8, 2011, and is currently pursuing his education with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Outside of work, Dan is married to his best friend and has been with her since 2008. He is a proud father of four daughters and a grandfather to seven grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys football, baseball, cooking with family, fishing, and shooting.

Debra has been a valued member of The Walker Center since 2012, beginning as a Client Support Specialist before transitioning into her current role as an Associate Counselor in 2023. With a deep passion for helping others, her career has spanned various roles in the funeral industry and assisted living management, where she provided compassionate support to individuals and families. Debra is committed to guiding clients on their path to recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and embracing new experiences. Having lived in Germany and explored many places, she brings a broad perspective to her work—along with a sharp sense of humor that keeps those around her smiling.
Aime Muntz, CADC

Aime joined The Walker Center in 2015 and brings both experience and compassion to her role as a residential counselor. She takes a client-centered approach to her work, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore the underlying causes of addiction and begin the path to lasting recovery.
With a background in evidence-based practices and co-occurring mental health support, Aime helps clients navigate the complexities of substance use with empathy, insight, and respect. She is guided by the belief that everyone has the capacity for change and deserves respect, dignity, and the opportunity to heal.
Sydney Kulhanek, LCSW

Sydney Kulhanek is a native Idahoan who knew early on that she wanted to have the skills and abilities to help others move through the difficult times of their lives. Sydney received her Master of Social Work from Boise State University. Her initial social work experience began with children and adolescents, but it was during her internship with Walker Center Outpatient that she found a passion in recovery and trauma. As the HOPE Social Worker, Sydney is able to help clients reconnect with their communities, rebuild relationships and find new lives in sobriety over an extended period of time.

Tiffany Sedorus
Health & Wellness Facilitator

Tiffany is passionate about helping people connect with their health in meaningful, empowering ways. She joined The Walker Center in May 2025 as a Health and Wellness Facilitator and brings a unique blend of experience in trauma processing, movement coaching, and whole health education.
Since 2021, Tiffany has been guiding individuals through personal growth and healing, and in 2023, she began teaching Taking Charge of My Life and Health at the Boise VAMC. By early 2024, she expanded her work to inpatient settings, where her calm presence and supportive approach make a real difference. When she’s not helping others find balance, Tiffany enjoys baking with her smoker and can impressively back a horse trailer just about anywhere.
Michele Randall, RN

Michele brings decades of nursing experience to her role as Director of Client Support Services at The Walker Center. Since becoming a registered nurse in 1985, she has worked across multiple clinical settings, from labor and delivery to geriatrics, progressing from a nurse’s aide to leadership roles at the director level. Throughout her career, Michele has remained committed to meeting people where they are, recognizing that every client and staff member is unique and deserving of individualized support.
Outside of work, Michele enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart—her husband of 40 years—their three children, three grandchildren, and their beloved canine companions. She loves watching her grandchildren’s sporting events and exploring genealogy, uncovering connections between her ancestors and historical events. She believes history holds valuable lessons that continue to shape the present.

Emme received her Associates Degree in Nursing the fall of 2019 and has since worked in Long Term Care and her local hospital on the Medical/Surgical floor. She was able to grow her knowledge and use it to encourage her to find her passion in the medical field as a Registered Nurse. In April 2022, she found that The Walker Center was hiring and immediately applied knowing this type of work and environment is what will bring out the true joy and passion she was looking for in her career. Emme loves seeing the individuals come through these doors and put in the work and heart to change the direction of their lives, she enjoys being able to be a small part in their journeys. Emme expresses that one of her favorite parts of the job is facilitating Experiential Days. She believes these days encourage individuals to make connections and offer the safe space to be vulnerable and get outside of one's comfort zone - magic is made! Outside of work she loves spending time with family & friends, her husband, and her adorable dog named Wendy.
Stephanie Pierson

Stephanie serves as the Quality Assurance & Outcomes professional, where she plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy and tracking client outcomes over time. Since joining the team in May 2021, Stephanie has been instrumental in maintaining follow-up communications with clients for up to a year, helping measure long-term success and impact. She is highly skilled in data entry and analysis, regularly creating detailed graphs and charts to reflect outcomes and support continuous improvement.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys reading, camping, and spending time outdoors. Her love for nature fuels her creativity and brings balance to her professional life.

Danie joined The Walker Center in September 2023, bringing over 13 years of experience in both direct care and administrative roles within the mental health and medical fields. She has worked extensively with both adults and children with disabilities, offering compassionate support and a deep understanding of client needs. In her current role, Danie assists clients with creating and coordinating their discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition after treatment. She also manages medical records, keeping them organized, accurate, and confidential in compliance with all standards and regulations.
Outside of work, Danie is a proud mom of two boys. She enjoys playing softball, coaching her kids' baseball teams, and spending time exploring the outdoors with her family.
Steve Swarner, SUDA

Steve Swarner is the Walking Sober Facility Manager and a Certified Recovery Coach. Steve helps clients become productive in their recovery and society by assisting to remove barriers and obstacles for recovery, collaborates with individuals in developing natural supports to improve quality of life and build a support network for sobriety. As the Facility Manager, Steve’s duties include fostering a recovery-supportive environment while ensuring the safety and welfare of the residents and community. Steve supervises the Recovery Support Specialists and coordinates all activities at The Walking Sober House. Steve is currently pursuing certification as a Substance Use Disorder Associate Counselor. Steve is a role model to instill hope for recovery.

Danny serves as the Lead Recovery Support Specialist at the Sober House, where he brings a grounded, empathetic approach to supporting individuals in their recovery journey. Since joining the team in January 2023, he has drawn from his diverse background, including work in construction and fast food, to connect with clients from all walks of life. Danny attended Calvary Bible Institute in 2018 and became a certified recovery coach the following year, combining practical experience with a strong foundation in faith-based service.
Outside of work, Danny is a dedicated husband and father to two young sons. He also serves as a pastor in Jerome, Idaho, where he continues to mentor and support his local community.

Azra joined The Walker Center in October 2023 and has found immense fulfillment in witnessing clients grow and transform into better versions of themselves. With prior experience in the mental health field, she understands both the challenges and the deep rewards of supporting individuals on their journey.

Eva received her Master's degree in Social Work from Boise State University and has been with the Walker Center since 2019. Eva has experience providing services to adolescents and adults in substance use and mental health treatment. She prefers an eclectic approach to treatment with a focus on client-centered strengths. Eva is a bilingual counselor and utilizes a modality of interventions including EMDR, IFS, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, among other evidence-based practices. In her free time, Eva enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with family.

Michael Anthoney has been a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) since 1999 and currently serves as a Primary Counselor for The Walker Center’s Twin Falls Outpatient Team. With over two decades of experience in both residential and outpatient treatment settings, Michael has worked extensively with adults and adolescents to help them overcome substance use challenges and build sustainable recovery.
Beginning his career at The Walker Center’s residential facility in Gooding, Idaho, Michael spent 11 years providing structured, intensive care before transferring to the Twin Falls outpatient office in January 2010. He is trained in Motivational Interviewing, TruThought, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and the Idaho Model of Cognitive Self Change (CSC).
Michael is passionate about guiding clients—particularly those with criminal justice involvement—toward transforming harmful thought patterns into healthy, pro-social ways of living. His approach integrates evidence-based practices with compassionate, individualized support, empowering clients to achieve long-term sobriety and personal growth.

Jen Ford is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor that has worked in the field since 2015. Most of Jen's experience has come from working with individuals in outpatient treatment. She has now found a great love for working with individuals in residential treatment. Jen has many years in recovery and her passion is helping people that are hurt and desire recovery, Celebrate Recovery, and the Twelve Step Recovery process. Jen has been married since 1997 to her best friend, and both love to ride Harley Davidsons, hanging out with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Alejandra received her bachelor's and master's degree in social work from Boise State University. She completed her practicum here at The Walker Center, where she found a new passion working with individuals and families who are impacted by substance use disorder. Alejandra enjoys being able to provide services to spanish speaking individuals and helping clients discover their strengths and potential. The Walker Center’s treatment approach blends the philosophy and principles embodied in 12-Step programs, like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, with evidenced-based treatment methods. We offer a complete continuum of care — from medically supported and clinically managed residential withdrawal management to monitor detoxification and residential treatment for adults only to individual counseling and outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults. With locations in Twin Falls and Gooding, our vast array of services are individualized to meet the needs of many clients seeking help for alcohol and/or drug problems.
